- ISLAND FARM DONKEY SANCTURY
Over 70 rescued donkeys plus many ponies and other rescued animals.

- DIDCOT RAILWAY CENTRE
Recreating the golden age of the Great Western Railway with steam locomotives in the engine shed, signalling displays, Brunel's broad gauge railway, small relics display. 'Phone or visit website for details of Steamdays and special events.

Admission: £4.00 - £9.00 depending on the event (family ticket available).

- LITTLE WITTENHAM NATURE RESERVE
250 acres of woodland and grassland including Wittenham Clumps
(see also Abingdon).
Where: Between
Didcot and Wallingford.
- PENDON MUSEUM OF MINATURE LANDSCAPE & TRANSPORT
Recreates in minature the English countryside and railways of
the 1930's.

- CHARNEY BASSETT MILL
This charming rural water mill was built in the local timber
and weather-boarded style with a hipped roof and dates from 1807.
The machinery has been restored by the Vale of White Horse Industrial
Archaeology Group, who undertake the guided tours. Insufficient
water supply prevents the newly installed water wheel from turning
the machinery. The mill is owned by Oxfordshire County Council.

The museum building dates from the 14th century. The museum is
in the grounds of the former Dorchester Abbey, which can be visited.
- CHAMPS CHAPEL MUSEUM
Local history in a 15th century chapel setting. Displays
of Hendred's Millennium history housed in a Grade One Listed
ex-Carthusian Chapel (15th Century).
