She has the distinction of being a Guinness Book of Records World Record Holder after her incredible 101 day ordeal rowing 3044 miles across the Atlantic in a row boat with her son, Daniel. They survived sharks, whales and the unforgiving sea, their tiny boat tossed about like a cork by waves the 'size of a house'.
