Where We Are

Lakeside is ideally situated between Oxford and London, 2 miles from M40, junction 6 and only 20 minutes from Oxford Business Parks / city centre, and just 30 minutes from Heathrow. We are nestled at the foot of the Chiltern hills, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Our beautiful 1.5 acres of English country garden, as featured in the Sunday times and on television (the Oxford Channel, Gardeners' World on BBC 2 & in Japan) boasts lakes, plenty of wildlife and picturesque far reaching views across our 300 acre working farm.

A local pub providing excellent food (created by a French chef) is within walking distance.

Bed & Breakfast

Bed & breakfast accommodation is available within our charming beamed working farmhouse, in quiet, rural location down a country lane with no passing traffic.

All our ensuite rooms offer: WCs, basins and showers or baths (note that the King Room has WC and basin only - separate shower); wireless broadband internet access; tea and coffee making facilities (including biscuits); hair dryers; remote control colour TVs; cosy central heating; constant hot water and... Comfort!!

Enjoy a hearty farmhouse breakfast cooked by Jim and wake up to the appetising smell of fresh homemade bread.

Self Catering

In addition to our B & B we now have a self catering wooden Garden Lodge for two, overlooking the lake.

Beautifully decorated in up to date "shabby chic" style and a king-size bed. Sit on the veranda in the evening sun with a glass of wine watching the red kites, or give the ducks a crust at breakfast time.
