- Nether Winchendon House, Near Thame, Medieval and Tudor

- Rycote Chapel, near Thame. 15th century chapel where,
as a young princess, Elizabeth I worshipped.
- Waddesdon Manor, Near Aylesbury. A magnificent renaissance
style château built in 1870 for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild
as a showcase for the Baron's collection. It includes French Royal
furniture, Savonnerie carpets and Sèvres porcelain, portraits
by Gainsborough and Reynolds and works by 17th century Dutch and
