Witney & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce has many members drawn from all types of industrial, commercial, retail and professional businesses within the community. The Chamber has a structure which deals with all important aspects of the commercial life of the town. It makes sure that members have a full understanding and knowledge of any proposals or developments affecting the business community.

The main areas covered are:

Planning: Continuous monitoring of new developments and proposals in the town and surrounding area.
Crime Prevention: The Chamber sponsors the West Oxfordshire Crime Prevention Panel including rewards for the Crimestoppers telephone line.
Traffic: Involvement in various traffic meetings that assess its impact in the town and decide on new routings and roads.
Trade Fair & Show: A Biennial event (even years) organised by the Chamber with over 175 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors.
Christmas: Playing our part making sure the town looks its best with festive decorations and a central tree to encourage shoppers.
Social: Events throughout the year bring together all members of the business community.
