In
a quiet conservation area of Bladon Village, this lovely Cotswold-stone
house, which dates back to 1720, is an excellent base of Blenheim Palace,
Woodstock, Oxford and The Cotswolds. Sir Winston Churchill is buried in
the peaceful Bladon churchyard nearby.
There are two double bedrooms, both with colour TV and
tea/coffee making facilities. These two rooms share a large, bright
shower-room, so are ideal for friends travelling together.
Guests are welcome to sit in the large, attractive garden with its many
interesting trees and shrubs.
The village pub is just a few minutes walk away and the beautiful historic
Woodstock, with its many restaurants and inns is 1 mile away.
How
to find us:
Take the A44 North from Oxford's ring road. At the roundabout half
a mile before Woodstock turn left onto the A4095 into Bladon. Take the
last left in the village Manor Farmhouse is on the 2nd bend - the only house with iron railings.
